I made this photo of Jeffrey, Brett, and Wesely about four years ago in the Gulf of Mexico. They were harvesting clams for Keyshore Aqua Farms. They worked on the whole clam farming cycle, putting in long days of hard work. Like most of the watermen and waterwomen in Cedar Key, they sure weren’t getting rich doing this, but they were getting by.
