Causes behind Sweet Speech (Gujarati Dadavani February-2002)

We use speech in all situations, sometimes our speech hurts others & sometimes it pleases others. We even happen to speak good-bad about our own self, don't we? One also gives opinions about others through speech. Since we don't have awareness at all stages, as consequence we suffer. Even if we say one bad thing about anybody through our speech then it will not only harm that person but also harm us & that too on a larger scale. If one happens to speak negatively about any person then one should keep spiritual awareness & heartily repent for such mistake, only then the mind will be at peace. If one imbibes Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan's understanding on speech then one can get free from suffering & pain caused due to speech which is merely a result & at the same time sow causes of sweet speech which would be acceptable to all. The final stage is where one is only the the listener of the speech that comes out. This issue unfolds the science of speech which will help reader keep awareness in matters of speech.
