100717 This was the time of the 8x10 view camera; I carried it all over rocks/water, back street alleys, on my back, tripod mounted; always ready for a shot. A time consuming affair, a bit like the quiet drink at the end of a day; elements and people always surrounding me and my apparatus, you could not run away, you had to mingle and mix and coalesce with both, quietly getting the neg activated.
