ASYLUM: The Photobook

The Asylum has long been a tried and true subject of Hollywood’s scary movies, as well as a favored setting for myriad science fiction writers and graphic novelists. A morbid fascination with The Victorian Insane Asylum pervades classic & contemporary horror stories with abject terror and fills our imaginations with gruesome, chilling visuals. Keeping in mind that this shoot was done in the spirit of the Halloween Season, with a focus on the impossible carnage that only a fantastical Haunted House setting can provide, please view this edition of AMOUR Magazine with care. Our intent is to evoke entertaining suspense and creepy diversions, not to truly disgust and revile. There is no malice in our design.
