Pattern #5 from the Sweet Treats Collection
It’s all about the frosting. That sweet little topping that makes everything that much better. This shawlette is the frosting to your wardrobe, a simple little confection to top it all off. The idea behind this design was to capture delicate feminine details without going decadently over the top.
At first glance at the directions you might not think this pattern belongs to a collection of simple knits. However, once you get going (and most especially after Row 15) your knitting should become pretty intuitive. The Bird’s Eye edging that adorns the “V” (increase) edge of the shawlette is a six-row repeat. In an effort to help keep this clear during the set up rows I have placed a line break to show the repeats of this section.
