There is nothing like Fair Isle to give the knitter the creativity to combine vibrant colors with stunning patterns.

Fair Isle is traditionally done using one yarn in each hand. This sounds intimidating, but it’s easier than you think—and far more addicting than you have ever bargained for. Somehow using both sides of the brain is more engrossing.

In this pattern, you will learn Fair Isle, step by step, beginning to end.

You are actually receiving two patterns in one. If you have never done Fair Isle before, you might want to begin with the first one since it is only two colors. If you’re more adventurous, go ahead and start on the back page with the second! The technique is identical for both, and you will still only use two colors in one row; only the patterning is different.
