Asheboro Events-Wente Vineyards Wine Tasting

This is a Special Event Magazine that we will publish after each event we attend. Our goal is to first raise awareness of each event with AsheboroCalendar.com so others will attend and, afterward, commemorate each in pictures with a Special Event Magazine similar to this one. Both websites are part of Asheboro Magazine’s, Asheboro Proud initiative which is designed to fuel the local economy by emphasizing the unique character of Asheboro. The Wente Vineyard Wine Tasting took place at Lumina Wine and Beer on September 1, 2010. The guest of honor was Phillip Wente, Vice Chairman of Wente Family Estates in Livermore, California. Founded 128 years ago, Wente Vineyards is the country’s oldest, continuously operated family-owned winery. It isn’t often you get a guest of Phillip Wente’s prestige at a small local wine tasting which speaks volumes about the Wente family’s commitment to helping it’s customer grow.
