The following images were produced by New York based photographer, Tim Foley.

In May 2016, he completed his senior thesis at the State University of New York at New Paltz, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photography, with a minor in Film/Video Studies. This body of work was completed between August 2015 and April 2016.

"I describe my current work as a surrealist photographic performance. I enter an abandoned, isolated space — removed from society and time. Here, I manipulate the space and document this performance. By using chance, experimentation, and hypnopompic themes — imagery related to the irrational state of consciousness while waking from sleep — I force possibility and meaning into images. In many instances, I leave the spaces as they were documented: to remain as a physical, visual time capsule to be discovered again someday. I enjoy the idea of someone unearthing a relic: evidence of a ritual, of a culture, of a language that they will never truly understand."
