This striking garter stitch kerchief scarf or shawlette features a textured and raised center panel that resembles the fronds of a fern. The shawl’s name is also a reference to Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
This kerchief scarf or shawlette is sure to become your favorite go-to and statement piece in your wardrobe.
You need about 500 yards of Fingering weight yarn such as Brooklyn Tweed’s Loft (2 skeins of it). The colorway Tent was used to make the olive green scarf shown in the pattern photos. The teal shawl was made from a skein of Malabrigo Sock yarn in the Solis colorway.
The difficulty level of this pattern is Intermediate.
