Catherine Harnett is a poet and fiction writer from Northern Virginia. Two of her poetry books, Still Life and Evidence were published through the Washington Writers Publishing House. Her fiction appeared in a number of literary journals including the Hudson Review, Assisi, The Wisconsin Review and Storyscape. "Her Gorgeous Grief" was nominated for a Pushcart, and is included in a Coming-of-Age anthology, Writes of Passage, published by the Hudson Review. It also appears in Electric Grace, a compilation of fiction by Washington women. Catherine has completed a manuscript of poetry, and is working on a short story collection.
