As an artist I create in the space were reality, imagination and abstraction bump against each other. Where they tickle, nudge, caress and coax each other into mutual cooperation with my creative vision. For me that is where the magic happens. My technique involves constructing the subject into a heightened version of itself, paying attention to intuition rather than preconceived ideas. Pushing and experimenting to create drama and energy in each painting.
