This is a short course I prepared with my colleague Dr. Robert Buckley. We have given it many times at various IS&T and SPIE conferences until summer 2003, thus it does not contain the latest imaging technologies and it contains some that are no longer around. We have been asked many times by one of the largest scientific publishers to turn the material into a book, but life is just to crazy and today's anorexic companies no longer leave the space for side activities.
