This is a knitting pattern to make Fallen Leaf Shawl using Jamieson's of Shetland Cobweb yarn.
This triangular shawlette is worked from the centre outwards. The ruffled edging is crochet, which is made by first casting off loosely then four double-trebles are worked into each stitch. This method creates dense and delicate ruffles that work for most of the lace yarn. If longer ruffles are desired, work extra rows of single double-treble (dtr) into each stitches. You can also use knitted ruffle edge instead by increasing the number of stitches by 3-4 times and work in stocking stitch.
For detailed information about the pattern, please check the actual page from my site (could not put everything due to word limit in this area). http://cottonandcloud.com/item.php?item_id=120&category_id=26
