I chose the phrase "Tour Roots" because this tour, if I had to compare it to any other year, would be similar to 2008; where it all started. There were a lot of familiar faces this year, making this book a dedication to all those I've met over the years.
Besides the familiar faces and places; the genre of music, tour bus life, and work day was very different than any other year.
After the work day, I'd bring my Polaroid Pro-Pack out and try to capture as many unique situations as I could. Whether it be of your favorite rock star or the backstage scene, you'll be able to see instances that only those who are working on the tour could see.
In addition to behind the scenes photographs, you'll see some Polaroids of artists from bands such as Jack's Mannequin, Gym Class Heroes, 3OH!3, and Yelawolf.
